Our new office is located a short distance to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. Founded in 1970, the firm started as a two attorney domestic and foreign chemical patent practice and has grown into a mid-sized, full service intellectual property practice. Our Pittsburgh office is a continuation of a firm started in the 1800’s that obtained patents for George Westinghouse. Our Pittsburgh office handles domestic and foreign patent preparation and prosecution, infringement and validity expert opinions, patent licensing, domestic trademark preparation and prosecution and domestic litigation in the areas of design patents, trademarks and copyrights. The office is able to efficiently handle our Pittsburgh area corporate clients as well as all of the firm’s patent maintenance fees.

Our Tokyo liaison office is a contact and liaison office for our Asian clients, which also functions as a working space for our attorneys when they are in Japan.
